Refurbishment of Distribution Centre

The project consisted of the refurbishment of the existing Stoke distribution centre. Walker Construction Services Ltd were appointed principle contractor and were responsible for the alterations, the existing building and the material handling equipment.

Internally, the project required installation of a new mezzanine floor, new male & female toilet blocks, additional warehouse shelving along with re-positioning the existing, and alterations to the existing mechanical & electrical elements. Externally there was a new entrance to the car park created, improvement to the pedestrian access, construction of new operations & transport offices and re-positioning of roof lighting.
